The 2022 edition of the Annual Research Conference (ARC) is co-organised by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) and the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG ECFIN). ARC is the forum of excellence where European Institutions exchange knowledge and engage in dialogue with researchers at academic institutions and think tanks, practitioners at civil society organisations and citizens.
This year, the JRC and DG ECFIN invite Conference participants to discuss how to turn green the European way: keeping cutting the edge while remaining social and fair.
Conference participants shall listen to speakers discuss different aspects of a successful green transition and address questions on
- how to design appropriate policies and instruments to incentivize a green transition;
- how to change production and consumption patterns;
- how to engineer the necessary private and public investment/technological transformation, and
- how to bring about the necessary innovation and human capital accumulation.
All this, while at the same time preserving social cohesion and the cohesion of the EU.
Join us in this year’s knowledge exchange, be informed. Be part of the ARC22.
The conference is hybrid and takes place online and in Seville, Spain at CaixaForum.
